Our guests are free to arrive any time between 2 pm and 8 pm, and the room can be used up to 10 am on the day of departure.
- On arrival, our guests are treated to a small, complementary seasonal refreshment, such as fruit or a soft drink, in the entrance area.
- We are happy to store our guests’ luggage.
- Depending on availability, we offer our guests the opportunity of keeping the room until later in the day (charges may apply).

Mama Hedwig’s apple strudel – a culinary treat!
The house Gabi is located at the entrance to San Pietro, a small mountain village near Laion, between the Valle Isarco and Gardena Valley, surrounded by green forests, meadows and orchards. The nearby village centre offers an inn, a grocer’s shop and a bus stop. The house features a small vegetable and herb garden, as well as a large terrace with sun loungers and a couch for relaxing.
Irene and Thomas took over the establishment in 2011 after 40 years from their mother Hedwig, who still today frequently lends a hand. Guests will feel at home in the three modern, fully renovated holiday apartments. The Haus Gabi offers outstanding hospitality, especially in the form of Hedwig’s excellent apple strudel – a South Tyrolean treat for the guests!
The playground with its climbing tower, sandpit and swing is ideal for children: guests also benefit from free admission to the “Mar Dolomit” swimming pool in Ortisei as well as free internet access, barbecue facilities in summer and snowshoes in winter.
