The Linter winery basks in the sun on the Zenoberg hill, in a traffic-calmed area of the village of Tirolo. The Tappeiner Promenade runs below the house, with the spa town of Merano/Meran just ten minutes away on foot. The holiday apartments offer uninterrupted views over the beautiful Merano valley bowl.

The Linter establishment has been enthusiastically run as a family business for two generations: landlady Karin has been in charge for the last 20 years. The natural surroundings are maintained without pesticides and animals too are free to move. The whole family is concerned to ensure the well-being of their guests and also hosts communal wine-tasting evenings for their own wines.

The Linters do a great deal themselves, such as making jams, making syrups from fruits and herbs and even hand-embroidering the little bags in which fresh bread rolls are served each morning – together with the news for the coming day.
